There’s no stopping young guns!

At a young age of 7 years, he performed his first surgery. When most of the children are busy playing with dolls and guns, this one dreams of being a physician.

Akrit Pran Jaswal, born in the year 1993, was something more than regular children from the very beginning. As a toddler, 2 years of age, he knew how to read and write. Reaching 5 years, he was reading Shakespeare.  At age 6, he was reading everything he could about anatomy. By the time he turned 7, he already had performed a surgery. And the rest is history.

Well no, the rest is all about science when it concerns Akrit, a child with an IQ level of 146. The child, at age 12, was under the sponsorship and mentorship of Mr. B.R. Rahi, the Chairperson of Secondary Education in Dharamshala. He also was the youngest child to be accepted into any Indian university to study Science!

With his talent well recognized, Akrit was allowed watching the surgeries that were being performed in his state. And now, having been invited by international colleges like Imperial College in London, he’s also working towards finding a cure to cancer!
