Absence of Funding Leads to Incomplete Model Schools in MP

Madhya Pradesh government was to start Model Schools project based on the concept of Kendriya Vidyalaya but in the absence of funds the project still seems to be far-fetched approach. The school neither has teachers nor is the building visible.
Money raised for the project was 59 crores and the government approved 20 crores for the same, but in the absence of sufficient rains, this funding was cancelled. Though it did go to the suffering farmers, the Model School project suffered a backward stroke with the government hardly forwarding a help in this direction. Now, the project is to remain pending till the next fiscal year.
The work for the project was undertaken in the year 2010. It already is 2016, as many as 5 years have gone-by, yet the project awaits its completion thanks to the uninterested authorities.
