The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS entrance examination result was announced on Tuesday with five students from the Tricity securing ranks among the top 100.
Lakhs of students had appeared for the exam in hope to get admission in the seven prestigious AIIMS across New Delhi, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Raipur, Rishikesh and Bhopal.
Chandigarh girl Arushi Jain topped the Tricity with All-India rank 10. In a recent interview, she spilled the beans behind her achievement. “It is all about how firm your mind is and how much hard work you want to put in. It is very important to study on a daily basis,” she claimed. Speaking about accomplishing her dream, she said, “I wanted to study medicine since I was a child. I always want to aid people, save lives and I am glad I will now be able to live my dream. My parents and my brother have supported me all along. They are my greatest inspirations.”
Japnoor Kaur secured AIR 32 and wishes to get admission in AIIMS, New Dehli where she wants to pursue genetic research. “It is important to go home and revise the concepts you have learned that day. If only you’re thorough with the concepts, then can you score well in any exam,” she said.
Scoring AIR 37, Shivam Singla is also intent to apply in AIIMS, New Dehli as he wants to take up a career in neurology.
Just like his parents, Tanish Modi, securing AIR 68, wants to pursue radiology or neurology for higher studies. Tanish also advises students to study regularly in order score well in entrance exams.
“Work hard and success shall be yours,” said Mukung Garg, who scored AIR 69 and aspires to be a cardiologist in the future.
We wish all these students all the best for their future endeavours.
