Along with Pt Birju Maharaj: The proud students of Kasiga School
Three students from Kasiga School in Dehradun, Ojasvi Rawat, Mahi Manjusha and Kavya Sharma have been selected to be a part of Pt Birju Maharaj choreography.
Pt Birju Maharaj is a living legend and to get selected to be a part of his team is considered no less than an achievement. Three students from Dehradun’s Kasiga School, Ojasvi Rawat, Mahi Manjusha and Kavya Sharma are among the selected few to share the stage with the largest ensemble of Kathak performers across the world in a dance performance that will be choreographed by him on 11 March 2016.
What more, Manjusha and Arvind Patel, staff members of Kasiga School, will also be performing alongside them.
The team thus finalised will undergo a rigorous training programme under Pt Birju Maharaj.
