At the Top of the World: Lakshmi Sunil Menon of Global Public School, Kochi
Yeah … she is the topper and still aims for more. An avid reader and traveler, this young girl has been conferred the title of World Topper by IGCSE out of students from 160 countries!
What does it feel like at the top of the world?
Lakshmi Sunil Menon of Grade 11 GPS-International has the best answer to it.
This 11th grader from Kochi is the proudest as she has been announced the World Topper by Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards on 20th November. The girl had definitely worked hard for this day as she achieved the highest marks throughout the world in her Cambridge IGCSE Travel and Tourism Exams. To be at the top of the world, she was competing with students from as many as 160 countries.
And that’s not all! She has also been conferred the title of India Topper Cambridge IGCSE Sociology exam!
That’s no mean feat!
No, Lakshmi doesn’t even stop there. Having great leadership skills, she also leads her school, Global Public School, as the School Pupil Leader. An all-rounder, she keeps winning laurels, awards, accolades in school and inter-school competitions too. To talk of her interests, she loves being lost in her books and her own creative writings; yeah … she writes drama too. Travelling is her passion!
