CBSE celebrates 90 years, 25 years of CBSE Sahodaya School Complexes

To commemorate the 90th Year of CBSE, a Memoir on the Journey of CBSE   was released by the dignitaries. The Board also released 3 more Books for teachers and students to provide information about different activities in CBSE.

The  90th Foundation Year of CBSE and 25th anniversary of Sahodaya School Complexes was celebrated at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.

Hon’ble HRD Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Hon’ble Minister of State Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Secretary School Education Shri Amit Khare, Chairperson CBSE Ms. Anita Karwal graced the occasion.

To commemorate the 90th Year of CBSE, a Memoir on the Journey of CBSE   was released by the dignitaries. The Board also released 3 more Books for teachers and students to provide information about different activities in CBSE. CBSE and Sahodaya School Complexes of Delhi NCR is also organizing a two day Conference on the theme Nai Taleem- For a Sustainable Future on November 1 and 2.

Different renowned speakers like Prof. Govinda, Prof. Poonam Batra, Dr. Swaroop Rawal, Sister Shivani, Sh. Rajiv Mehrotra, Dr. Achal Bhagat, Major D P Singh, Prof. Mahesh Rangarajan, and many others will be talking on different topics on school education.

“It is important to design a holistic education which provides scope for all-round development,” said Secretary Education Shri Amit Khare.

Hon’ble Minister of State for Education Sh. Sanjay Dhatre, in his address, complimented CBSE for the overall development of students’ physical, mental, academic and spiritual development through its programmes and initiatives. He said that Nai Taleem rested on the ideology of uplifting the weak and inclusive growth for all and that moral development and character building are integral to a good education.

Hon'ble. HR Minister addressed the gathering. He complimented CBSE on bringing so many school leaders under one roof. It appeared that the entire nation had come together to celebrate education. The celebration of 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, 90 years of CBSE and 25 years of Sahodaya is bound to bring good outcomes for the nation.

Hon'ble Minister appreciated CBSE for its commendable work not only in India but across the world.
