Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated schools can now complete the student registration for Class 9th and Class 11th till November 12, 2018. If schools miss the deadline – October 30, they can still apply with a late fee of Rs. 1000 till the extended date.
The second deadline to complete the registration is November 20 with Rs. 2000 as late fee along with the initial registration fee of Rs. 150 for schools in India and Rs. 250 for class 9 students in schools abroad and Rs. 300 for class 11 student in schools abroad.
However, the last deadline is November 28, 2018 with Rs. 5000 late fee.
The dates have been extended keeping in mind the holidays on account of Dussehra and 'Titli' cyclone.

The affiliation process has been simplified through online registration for more transparency. The inspection for infrastructure will be done by corresponding state authority. The school’s quality of education and learning outcomes will be inspected by CBSE.The affiliation will be valid for three years.
