CBSE Expression series competition to celebrate the birth anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay

The CBSE Board is celebrating the birth anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the composer of Vande Mataram by organising a CBSE expression series competition for students. Students can submit poetries, drawings or essays to win a cash prize of ₹ 2,500.

To celebrate the birth anniversary of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay on June 27, 2016 the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organizing a competition under the CBSE Expression Series from June 27 to June 28, 2016. Chattopadhyay was the composer of India’s national song Vande Mataram.

The CBSE circular mentioned that students participating in the competition will divided into 3 categories – Classes I to V, Classes VI to VIII and Classes IX to XII. The Expression series of competition allows the students to freely express themselves without limiting themselves to any form of expression. Going with the spirit of the competition, students can submit essays or poems or drawings by uploading them on www.cbseacademic.in. Students can also use the Mobile App to submit their entries. Further information about the app is available on the CBSE website. Entries submitted through email or post will be automatically rejected.
