India’s leading education management company, Strategum Eduserve Private Limited organized the “Strategum Principal Conclave & Excellence Awards 2017”at Raipur on 16th September 2017 at Courtyard Marriot, which was attended by over 120 School Principals and Academicians from 18 States in India.
The Managing Director of Strategum, Mr. Yeshwanth Raj Parasmal, told the Press in a Note that, “this is first of its kind initiative taken by Company to bring diverse but like minded School Principals and Leaders on a common platform to discuss about the competitive leavers of managing a K-12 School.” Strategum, working in eleven States over last nine years, have established more than 50 Schools and Colleges and believes that such Conclaves will help School Principals learn about the latest developments and trends in school education.
As a part of the conclave, Strategum also felicitated 25 distinguished School Leaders for their contributions in School Education. The Chhattisgarh School Education Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap presented the Excellence Awards to the winners. Sri Kedar Kashyap congratulated all the winners and also asked the Private School Leaders to share their best practices with Government Schools and enable a culture of co-learning and growth. He urged the School Principals to use the platform of Strategum to create an academic model that can assess the whole child, rather than just assess the student’s academic knowledge through grades and marks. He also raised pertinent issues related to health and safety of school children.
Eminent Guest Speakers from Indian and abroad spoke on well-meaning topics related to managing competition for a K-12 School. The Guest Speakers present during the Conclave included Dr. A. Senthil Kumaran, Mr. Alok Mohanty, Mr. Jay Bagri, Ms. Priya Prakash, Mr. Trevor Mccann and Mrs. Preetika Venkatakrishnan. A panel discussion on making schools safer and smarter was also held and drew great engagement of all Principals.
On the sidelines of the Conclave, an Exhibition was also organized that included companies like NIIT, CIVOM, Rubix 108, Karadi Path, EduSports and Aegis Infotech (an Apple Solutions Partner). The Participants were excited to learn about the new product offerings for Schools in the market.
The event marked the beginning of a new academic initiative that brings educationist from various backgrounds and regions to come together and discuss on the persistent issues faced by the students and schools in today’s environment.
