Celebrating the ‘Joy of Giving’ on the occasion of ‘Children’s Day’, Gurukul The School invited 60 students of Grade-II from Prathmik Vidyalaya, Nagar Shetra (Arthla) to spend a day with them.
Celebrating the ‘Joy of Giving’ on the occasion of ‘Children’s Day’, Gurukul The School invited 60 students of Grade-II from Prathmik Vidyalaya, Nagar Shetra (Arthla) to spend a day with them. The visit ‘A Day Out With Gurukulites’ was frilled with joyous squeals including Tug-off-War, games and amusement rides apart from the free-flowing tete-a tete with the little guests throughout the day.
The Gurukulites proved perfect hosts with their warmth and courtesy. They took the guest children for a school tour and watched an animated movie in the school auditorium.
The sumptuous lunch and snacks followed by the distribution of small souvenirs added up to the memorabilia.
On their journey back, the goodies given by Gurukul kept the little visitors engrossed and delighted. Elated Principal, Mr. Gaurav Bedi congratulated the children and said that with such an extraordinary gesture, Gurukulites have blazed a trail and proved that ‘Joy of Giving’ is actually greater than any other form of celebration.
