Gone are the days when playing meant playing in open. Playing today means playing on computer systems or other handy gadgets. And parents do realize this is hampering their kids’ health. But is there a way out?

Shai Shalev, a father in Israel, says yes! Aa computer science and aeronautics engineer by profession, Shalev, has found a solution to it.

He, father of three children, developed a system wherein he has interconnected computer system and pedal-bike. What makes this a healthy computer is that one has to paddle the bike to earn credits that unlock the computer for a time period. The computer gets automatically locked once all the credits are used, and hence the child will have to paddle again to earn credits. Credits once earned can also be stored for use later.

The man behind this innovation bringing computer with exercising says, “As a parent, I was worried seeing my kids sitting in front of the computer for hours. I was looking for a way to make them do some sport activity.”
