IIT Bombay, dream for many, came true for Vihaan Kholi even before he ever attempted IIT entrance examination. This 11th grader from Ecole Mondiale World School was invited at the IIT Bombay to create and display his fascinating piece of art titled ‘Chaotic Uniformity’ at the opening installation of Asia’s largest science and technology festival, TechFest 2015 at the IIT, Bombay.

Earlier it was Kala Ghoda Festival where he had demonstrated his art work and got recognition for the same. ‘Chaotic Uniformity’ explores the socio-economic barriers posed by careers. The pipes form a cage and the man trapped inside this cage is representative of how each person is imprisoned by their field of work. This installation captures careers through a different perspective. Each pipe is symbolic of a different line of profession. And the small men on the pipes are going about their daily chores. The pipes together form some sort of a cage and the man trapped inside this cage represents how each person is imprisoned by their field of work.
