Education is the best way to fight poverty.
So says our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. It’s not just Make In India programme that he stands by, the PM is seemingly reaching the grass roots to help India develop better. And education, he rightly says, is the way to beat our way to success, against poverty.
Poverty is certainly one of the most talked about topics of India. But the question that always remains unanswered, “What can we do about poverty?”
We have never really been able to find the answer to this question, and the fact that only talking will not change the scenario is still intact.
“Our efforts to remove poverty over the years have not yielded the results we desired. The speed needs to improve,” as quoted by NaMo during a rally in Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi.
Modi further elucidated that every parent, irrespective of their income and status in society, want their children to lead a better life than what they themselves have experienced; nobody wants their children to stay poverty ridden. So it is really important not only for personal growth but for the overall development of the nation that our children get quality and necessary education.
“I urge all of you, whatever circumstances are, ensure that your children receive education. Education is the best way to fight poverty”, he enforces.
Hope to see you achieving your way through with education, Mr. Prime Minister!
