Excellent Show by MGD Girls’ School’s students at 53rd Annual IPSC Athletic Meet
Excellent Show by MGD Girls’ School’s students at 53rd Annual IPSC Athletic Meet hosted by Punjab Public School, Nabha, Punjab.
A group of 12 girls from MGD Girls' School left on red November for Punjab Public School, Nabha (Punjab) to participate in All India U-19 53rd IPSC Athletic Meet 2016. A total of 27 teams participated in this annual meet including boys.
M.G.D School did exceedingly well in all events. There were a total of 20 events in girls category and the school participated in 17 of these events.
The achievements of school's students were as follow:
4*100 Mts Relay and 4*400 Mts Relay – 2nd position
Netal – 2nd in 200 mts and 3rd in 400 mts hurdles
Tripti – 3rd in Shotput, Discuss and Hammer throw
Eeshita – 2nd in long jump
Sarangana – 3rd in long jump
Chief guest for closing ceremony was Anirudh Choudhary ,Treasurer BCCI.
