International delegates keep visiting St. Edmund’s School on a very regular basis, a practice that was taken further by delegates from Wellington School, Scotland. The delegates were given a warm welcome at school by the teachers and students. The purpose of their visit was to explore Indian Education System and to adopt the best practices beneficial for their teaching process. During their stay, they visited various classes to observe the working of the school.

 

 

While they were here, they also visited the textile industries to view and understand the process of making different handicraft items. Thoroughly enjoying their visit, they seemed quite fascinated with the wide of range of beautiful products that handicraft industry of Jaipur produces. Besides that a fancy dress competition, themed ‘Indian States,’ was also organized wherein the little angels of pre-primary worn different costumes depicting unique and unmatched features of each state of India, yet how beautifully the nation stands united. Along with was a trade fair organized by secondary section where the diverse variety of cuisines, dresses and handicrafts were showcased. The delegation tasted the various flavours of different parts of India and purchased the handicraft items.

A session on Yoga, an integral part of India, was also organized keeping in mind that 'fitness is the key to a dynamic personality.' Many students along with the staff members vivaciously performed seven yogic postures.

Dr. Pooja Singh (Principal) said that the cultural qualities and understanding that exists between our schools is an important part of our philosophies and appreciated the efforts put in by the students and staff members and congratulated them.
