FREEDOM IS FUN: 67th Republic Day at Seedling Modern Public School

With great fervor and enthusiasm, Seedling Modern Public School, Sapetia, Udaipur celebrated India’s 67th Republic Day. The day at the school was full of patriotism, where distinct performances by senior and junior students was witnessed. Gracing the occasion was the Chief Guest for the day, Ms. Sharon Prabhakar, the famous theatre personality.

After she was escorted by the respected Director of the school, Mr. Hardeep Bakshi, the programme began with lamp lightening followed by Saraswati Vandana.

The celebrations at the school had everything from a quick talk on Republic Day, solo songs and group dance performances to an enactment based on patriotism which was staged by students of grade IX.

What caught everybody’s attention the most was a power-packed dance performance on “Singham” and “Jai Ho”, where students danced with great energy. Giving a tough competition to the dance performance was a mesmerizing fancy dress show by the toddlers themed on Our Great Leaders. Though younger in age but there was no dearth of patriotism in the students of Seedling, who with full heart gave soul to their performances.

The Chief Guest, Ms Prabhakar, appreciated the efforts by the students and the Director, Mr. Hardeep Bakshi, gave vote of thanks to her.
