Fun at Winter Carnival at Subodh School

Winter carnival, Christmas celebration and with New year round the corner, festivity is in the air. And to fully enjoy the festive season, Subodh Public School, Rambagh organized a winter carnival on the school grounds.

The entire ground buzzed with various activities; fun and masti completely took over everything. The students along with their teachers put up as many as 80 stalls which included everything from games to food. The game stalls which included aabra ka daabra, lucky dip, find the crystal in the bowl, the wish box, etc., were enticing enough to make everybody try hand at it. The students of the school truly showed their business skills and team ScooTalks was also the one to get impressed by their way of attracting customers, which is evident from the fact that we too played a game or two at their stall and yaa … like always we did win.

Apart from the games, there were other stalls also to fantasize all, there was food and lots of it; then there was a book stall by Scholastic; there were swings for young kids, tattoo stall for the tattoo lovers and last but not the least, there was music and unlike the modern DJ music, it was music by the traditional musicians being played live. The zeal among students was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet to the traditional music too!

What was different in Subodh’s fete was the fact that the students of the school were all in their school uniform and hence showcased their unity like no other. Covered with blue, the school grounds looked more like smiling sky. Some sight it was to see the young kids handling their first business ventures and the crowd enjoying the Christmas day to the fullest.
