  1. October 5 is UNESCO’s World Teachers’ Day which has been celebrated on the same day every year since 1994.


     
  2. In India, Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5 every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India's second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
