Fun-filled Winter Carnival at Subodh Public School, Airport

The last day of the year at Subodh Public School, Airport was fun filled and saw the entire school go crazy on the school grounds, afterall big occasion it was … school’s winter carnival cum fete. The moment ScooNews team reached the school grounds, we could instantly feel the energy that was beaming out there. The entire school ground was buzzing with different activities and had stalls ranging from food to games and swings.

Beginning at 8 in the morning, it was quite amazing to see all the students well-prepared at their respective stalls. While few students were busy selling their merchandise, others were seen tapping their foot on the beats of the music being played by the school’s students who were doing a good job at DJing. Yeah, we too couldn’t avoid getting in the groove to shake a leg, joining the students, going all mad at the high-energy beats.

The food stall had golgappas, patties, momos, chowmien and what not. But these stalls were li’l different from the usual ones … while the golgappas were Dimple & Srishti ke golgappe, Chinese Stall was Subodh to China. There were games like Ribbon throw, Basket ball, stone in a second, ring in the rod, naughty brinjal … all-in-all it was fun-filled day there.

School’s principal, Mrs. Kamal Jeet Yadav, released kites and helium balloons. Some sight it was to see that kite flying along with the beautiful balloons in the air. The entire crowd hooted as the principal released the balloons high in the air.
