The functioning of the Police department has always intrigued the citizens, and how they monitor the criminal activity, take part in community patrols, respond to emergency calls, issue tickets, make arrests and investigate crimes. To get an insight into the above issues and satisfy their queries related to the same, Jayshree Periwal High School gave the students of grade 10 & 11 an opportunity to visit the Police Commissionerate, Jaipur. Mr. Sanjay Agarwal , Commissioner of Police, addressed the students and put a rest to their inquisitive minds by answering their questions.
He himself informed the students that Jaipur has become the first city in the state to have all women-staff police station where females can go and lodge their complaints. Also, the Police Department has launched WhatsApp helpline number and various apps which can be downloaded from the Play Store and be used at the time of emergency.
The students were fascinated with the efficient monitoring of the Safety and Security System of Jaipur, and the meticulous working of the Jaipur Police. It was extremely heartening to see them work relentlessly to ensure the well-being of its citizens.
