JKG International School, Vijaynagar, GZB organised a workshop “The Voice of Girls” on WOMEN EMPOWERMENT on 17 September 2016 for the parents and their peer group in the school auditorium mentored by our delegates from U.K Ms. Isabelle Neumand and Liberty Hewitt.
With brave Indian acid attack survivor Reshma Bano Qureshi's walk at NewYork Fashion Week followed by Laxmi, another acid attack survivor to walk the ramp at London next week ,WOMEN EMPOWERMENT has become a burning issue all over the world including India. Women's quest for equality with man is a universal phenomena.
To seize the opportunity to control their own future and to have a voice in their community in a way that perhaps they haven't had the chance in past JKG International School, Vijaynagar, Ghaziabad organised a workshop “The Voice of Girls” on WOMEN EMPOWERMENT on 17 September 2016 for the parents and their peer group in the school auditorium mentored by our delegates from U.K Ms. Isabelle Neumand and Liberty Hewitt.
The workshop commenced with inspirational videos followed by a healthy interactive session between the parents and our mentors. Our Principal Ms. Anju Gaur applauded the efforts put by our delegates and teachers in making the workshop a grand success. The overwhelming response of the audience was indeed praiseworthy. Overall the workshop provided an enriching experience to all.
