JNV and KVS results outshine all the other schools yet again
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) had been consistently outshining the private schools and their results of CBSE 2016 exams have followed a similar trend.
As the schools witnessed the results of CBSE class 10 and 12, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) outshined the other schools with their results.
They had been consistently outshining the private schools and maintained the results this year too.
In the above graph, the data shows class 10 results of 2016 where the overall pass percentage is 96.21% and the percentage of KVS and JNV is 2.5% more than the other schools. The pass percentage of private schools is 97.72% while the government schools have the lowest pass percentage at 86.61%.
The results of class 12 bring out the quality of JNV and KVS where the pass percentage of the schools are more than the average. Pass percentage of JNV is 96.69% while that of KVS is 95.43%. The pass percentage of private schools is 82.4%, slightly less than the national average.

The government schools have done relatively better in Class XII. The pass percentage of government schools in Class XII is 83.85%, more than the national average.
Talking about girls performing better than boys, the graph tells us the pass percentage of girls which is 96.36% compared to the 96.11% of boys in class 10 results.
The difference is remarkable in Class 12 results where the girls outshine boys with a pass percentage of 88.58% and are way ahead of the boys pass percentage of 78.85%.
And even in the individual top scores in Class 10, girls outperformed boys. 14.34% of all the girls scored a perfect 10 CGPA while only 10% boys scored a perfect 10. While 28.72% of the boys scored above 9 CGPA, 36.08% of the girls scored above 9 CGPA.
