Silent Book Club

Silent Book Club was started in 2012, in San Francisco, by Guinevere de la Mare and Laura Gluhanich. However, everyone from around the world is welcome to join it. They often host online book discussions which keep their social media extremely active. Any book-related information can be found on the website as well as their social media pages. Unlike usual book clubs, this one does not have a mandatory reading and discussion list and the readers are free to choose and suggest.

India Book Club

India Book Club started in 2012 with a mission of promoting serious reading interest as well as creating a better society based on better reading. Usually, they discuss all Indian writings in English, Hindi and regional dialects. They also have a global book forum, where they discuss global literature in English and other languages of the world. They operate online as well as offline. On the website forum, the members can participate in discussions, get updates about the meeting dates and be informed about the reading lists & giveaways.

Delhi Book Club

Since 2008, the Delhi Book Club has been recommending and reviewing books. For virtual meets, their Facebook group is the hub for updates and discussions around the ‘Book of the Month.’ Another interesting fact about them is their offline discussion sessions, wherein they dress up as characters from the ‘Book of the Month’ and reenact scenes! There is an exclusive space on the website for children as well.

Reese’s Book Club

Who doesn't know the actress turned producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Reese Witherspoon! But did you know she has a book club called Reese’s Book Club that focuses on elevating women’s stories? Reese keeps updating her social media pages with the ‘Book of the Month’ recommendation and takes suggestions based on the current reads as well. We think it’s a great way to indulge our mind into something relaxing as well as uplifting.
