Joyous Christmas Celebration … French Style!

Christmas celebrations are in short fun, with good things, positive vibes, love, care all around. What if we add a French twist to it. So this school did exactly that and had enthusiastically celebrated the day the perfect French style.

On 23rd of December a special assembly was held at The Palace School to celebrate Christmas with a French touch. The teachers and the students were treated to a grand spectacle which included carols in French and in English, skits and dances.

The French tradition of “Galette des rois” was observed, as a part of which Ms. Harleen Kaur was crowned the queen. Some teachers were also appreciated for their creative efforts in writing messages for the school. Even the helping staff members read out their messges for the school.

The various dances, songs and musical plays brought the message of Christmas across in a very fun-filled, joyful and creative way that was much enjoyed by the students. The warmth of the joyous celebrations made the chilly morning an enjoyable and memorable one.

Expressive paintings on the theme of Love and Joy were invited from students of classes VI to X. Though each and every entry that was received was upto the mark, thus leaving the judges perplexed to finalize the top three, yet, here’s the result:

1st Prize: Diya Agarwal (Class VII)

2nd Prize: Ram Chandra Temani (Class X)

3rd Prize: Siddharth Kothari (Class IX)

In accordance with the theme of love and joy, some underprivileged children also were invited to be a part of the celebrations and they were given presents that brought smiles on their faces.

Principal, Mrs. Urvashi Warman addressed the gathering and motivated each one of us to spread the message of love and joy through constant good practice and behaviour!

With the zealous students and teachers, the day ended on an enthusiastic note making it a great event.
