Sahodaya Fest has a broad spectrum, which includes everything under it, be it a sports event, cultural or technical. We at ScooTalks have been attending most of the events held under the prestigious Sahodaya Fest-2015 but this one was unusual. This workshop, organized in Kapil Gyan Peeth School, was something which not only helped the students, but also the elders. This workshop unlike other workshops was a technical one and aimed at making the audience aware of ‘Cyber Security and Safe Surfing’.

As many as 42 schools participated in the workshop Where Cyber Security Expert from Delhi, Rakshit Tandon taught the students about various types of cyber law, cyber safety, cyber security and cyber crime through video clipping and PPT.

Stating the reason for organizing this workshop, principal of the Kapil Gyan Peeth, Ms. Karuna Yadav, said that the motive of the workshop was to educate students about cyber world. Students, she said, after various researches have been found to be falling prey to cyber crime the easiest and thus the high and urgent requirement to create awareneness of technology in them.

True, in today’s digital age, technology is a boon but inadequate knowledge can turn it into bane.
