Khan Academy now features Indian Math Curriculum, Video Lessons available for Classes 5 to 12
The video tutorials by Khan Academy covered NCERT syllabus for mathematics and were for students of class 5 to class 8 at the time of launch in December 2016. In February 2017, Khan Academy added more lessons and now provide free Math lessons for Classes 5 to 12.
Khan Academy was launched by MIT graduate Salman Khan (better know as Sal Khan) in 2006 when he decided to post mathematics tutorials for his cousin, Nadia. These videos attracted a lot of attention, compelling him to leave his job and launch the e-learning platform.
In 2015, Khan academy started providing free online tutorials in Hindi for Indian students and teachers.
