This is for the first time that any student from Lucknow has achieved this feat and this is probably the highest score in India for SAT, which was held on January 21 this year.

“I can look forward to not only successfully applying to the most elite colleges in the US, including Stanford, CalTech, Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and others but will also get substantial scholarship,” a jubilant Shubh, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar branch, told Hindustan Times.

Shubh, scored 800 out of 800 in the maths section and 790 out of 800 in the evidence-based reading and writing in English section. The 16-year-old’s marks are the second highest score possible on the test.
