Music and dance are not just a form of entertainment, but also an expression, a language that is never spoken but heard by everyone. And for children who love extracurricular activities a little more than academics … St. Xavier’s is definitely the right school for them.
St Xavier’s School … The name in itself is the explanation. This time we are talking about the Madhukar Malviya Music and Dance competition; they never cease to amaze us more with every coming day.
For this event, once again, the school beamed with energy and melody.Students from various age groups were humming with joy, tapping their feet to the music and enjoying themselves. This was the aura that had us entrapped in its spell.
The honorable chief guest Rev. Fr. T.J. Jose, Principal, St. Xavier’s School, Nevta inaugurated the event with a small prayer and lighting of lamp. And thereafter the event went on track with a full pace, starting with classical dance, and adding numerous fun filled events to the list.
Every song sung by the sweet children was just awe-inspiring; just enough to keep us glued to our seats. We could encounter every spectator humming the songs with these budding singers; the whole hall was echoing the song in unison; the pure magical voices in its purest form.
This was an inter-house competition and each and every school house got an equal and fair chance to showcase their unique talent. Participants and house-students kept their fingers crossed as the results were announced.
