Mahaveer Public School attends Conference on Climate Change in Sweden

The principal of MPS, Jaipur along with 2 students were selected to attend the climate change conference held in Sweden.

Climate change has been a topic of worry for many years; Sweden has come forward to take on the issue from a student's point of view, which is filled with new ideas.

A conference on Climate Change with the goal of Education for Sustainable Development was held in Sweden from June 11-16, 2016. The conference was attended by countries like U.K.,Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Russia, Ghana, Sweden, Romania Lebanon, UAE etc. From India,  Mrs. Rashmi Talwar, Principal, Mahaveer Public School, Jaipur and two students Aayush Sharma and Prachi Gupta of Class XII were selected to participate in the conference. The conference focused on the themes of care for myself, care for others and care for nature. The participants gave various presentations related to their school, country and themes and presented position papers for UN Role play. The students showed the world a cultural presentation representing the rich heritage and culture of India.
