All eyes were on US president Barack Obama as he made a historic trip to Cuba. While the President was making waves meeting Raul Castro and talking on reforms and US sanctions on Cuba. The First Lady Of The United States, Michelle Obama was quietly creating a wave in the online world.

From Cambodia to South Africa — the First Lady has met incredible young students who are pursuing their dreams through education across the globe. Each and every student has her own story, that is not only inspiring but also serves as a reminder that we are all uniquely alike.
While in Cuba, the First Lady had the chance to chat with Talía, a young student who grew up in Havana and spends her days practicing piano, studying English — and to no surprise — loves pizza just as much as we do!

The sheer number of inspiring stories of young students around the world inspired the First Lady to create a twitter section called the “FLOTUS Insta-Views,” a series featuring snippets of daily life of girls around the world during the First Lady’s travels abroad.
