Michelle Obama, the lady who has it all being the current first lady of United States, encouraged girls to focus on their studies at the recently held  event of Glamour’s “The Power of an Educated Girl” in New York City.

Addressing a crowd of over 1000 school children at the event she said, “There is no boy at this age that is cute enough or interesting enough to stop you from getting your education.”

She further added, “If I had worried about who liked me and who thought I was cute when I was your age, I wouldn’t be married to the president of the United States today!”

Citing example of poor education of girls all across the world, she said, “There are 62 million girls around the world who would give anything to be in your position.”

Coaxing girls to focus on studies and not deviate from their path she further said, “I don't care if you are in one of the most underserved communities in the country. There is a girl that would love to be in your place. You all have to own this piece of education. If you care about those girls, then the first thing you have to do is care about your education so you grow up empowered to be able to work on this issue when you're our age.”

Wow! The thought and effort by Mrs. Obama is worth praising…and we hope the young school girls who invest their mind and energy in grabbing attention from guys will surely get inspire to study hard.
