Model United Nations training session organised at Jayshree Periwal High School from 25th to 27th of September, 2016
Border conflicts, foreign policy, refugee crises and various other global issues do not usually form a part of discussion amongst middle school and high school students however that is exactly what they did at a Model United Nations training session organised at Jayshree Periwal High School from 25th to 27th of September, 2016.
The session was conducted by Mr. Sidarth Das a personality respected by students who take interest in Model United Nations. With his experience and expertise Mr. Das trained the participants to think on their feet while developing basic skills sets like negotiation, various debating formats and parliamentary producers.
The workshop aimed at creating awareness about international issues, developing communication and team building skills which are essential in ensuring that the students learn to give back to the society in a meaningful way.
