Mudit Joshi, a class-XII student of Gurukul The School won Bronze Medal in 'The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition'  organised by the 'Royal Commonwealth Society' in May 2016 this year.  The overarching theme of the competition was  ‘The Queen’s – An Inclusive Commonwealth’, which is also the 2016 Commonwealth Theme of the Year.

The competition aimed at sensitizing the young student squad for the significance of community,  importance of diversity,  the question of belonging,  the values of Tolerance, Respect and Understanding along with a sense of Shared Responsibility.

Out of the thousands of hundreds entries of the student ambassadors from 53 Commonwealth countries, Mudit's Essay – draped in outstanding ideas and chiseled with strokes of imagination, drew him this well- deserved recognition.

School's Principal Mr.  Gaurav Bedi spoke about the importance of creative expressions in the formation of an insightful human being and congratulated Mudit who aspires to become a zoologist and has also cleared the Scholastic Aptitude Test early this session.
