With a view to foster and reinforce the spirit of communal harmony, national integration and pride in our vibrant, composite culture and nationhood, the Government of India is observing the "Quami Ekta Week (National Integration Week) all over the country from 19th to 25th November 2017.

This occasion provides an opportunity to reaffirm age old  traditions and faith in the value of tolerance, co-existence and brotherhood in a multi-cultural and and multi-religious society.

The National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), an autonomous organisation with the Ministry of Home Affairs organises Communal Harmony Campaign coinciding with the National Integration Week (Qaumi Ekta Week) and observes the Communal Harmony Flag Day on 25th November.

The release by CBSE advises CBSE Schools to support the communal harmony initiative and programmes of the Governement and also observe the National Integration Week (Quami Ekta Week). A tentative plan of programmes to be observed during the week is also provided.
