Art attracts all … And if you talk about children, then they are on the other side of the table, not just the admirers are they but budding creators too! To help them carry their fascination and love for art, Neerja Modi School, one of the most prestigious schools of Jaipur, participated in the “Creative Talent of Children” session at Jaipur Art Summit, Confluence of Contemporary Art, at Jawahar Kala Kendra.

The school knows it is one of the best in town and stands by it. Neerja Modi school emphasizes on overall development of its students and hence makes it a point to not just impart them bookish knowledge but also practical training. The students of grades 7, 8 and 9 with lots of zeal and enthusiasm sat down to paint their world of imagination on canvas at the Art Summit, Jawahar Kala Kendra.

Surrounded by sketches, paintings and drawings, the young and budding artists of Neerja Modi had just the perfect ambience to put their mind to work. And the results surprised us … while on one canvas, it was a riot of colors, on the next was one single color. While one student fought hard to bring out his real thoughts, the other painted what was kept next to him. Some painted abstract, some panited real life. Some presented their ideas with a twist, some presented it the traditional way. Some painted nature or the troubled nature, some showed their concern about the social stigmas, some displayed advancing science in their paintings, while others had simply put their confusions on paper in the most alluring form!
