New student committee members take oath in investiture ceremony at the Jayshree Periwal School.

Excitement rippled through the students as they gathered for the investiture ceremony 2016 of The Jayshree Periwal High School. There was a feeling of expectancy on each face as they waited for the results of the elections. The sudden hush which enveloped the auditorium indicated that the time for announcement was at hand.

Tanay Goyal and Barkha Bhandari were elected as the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively. The post of Cultural Head Boy went to Ayush Dosi while Radhika Tulsian was chosen as the Cultural Head Girl. The Sports Captains were Prerak Thukral and Naina Dhaka.

The pinning of badges was done by the Director Dr. Jayshree Periwal pinned the badges on the winners. It was followed by handing over of the flags and the oath taking ceremony.

The solemn expressions on the faces of the newly elected leaders were a sight to behold. On behalf of the outgoing team of leaders, the head boy Pratyush Chaturvedi and head girl Ahalya Rajesh wished them luck and thanked the students and teachers for their co—operation and help.

The Director blessed the newly elected team and motivated them to excel in every possible field.
