Nursery Students Visit Reliance Fresh
A healthy diet is the source to a healthy mind. Keeping this in mind, this school organized a visit to Reliance Fresh for their tiny tots, where it was not just fun but also a lot of education.
Coming out of classroom education, Nursery students of Terna Orchids International School, Kopar Khairne, were taken to near-by Reliance Fresh for a visit. The visit was made as a reinforcement of the theme ‘Fruits & Vegetables’.
Children enjoyed the ride to the supermarket, observing a variety of fruits and vegetables, feeling their textures too. Exotic fruits such as dragon fruit, kiwi, star fruit, etc., were also available in the supermarket and children were excited to see them.
Later, as a part of the theme, to make the kids learn the importance of fruits and salads in regular diets, the teacher also made salad in the classroom. Not only did the students enjoyed watching their teacher, but also were a great helping hand to her in washing and peeling fruits and vegetables and distributing the salad bowls.
It was an interesting and informative learning experience for the children.
