Constitution Day, proud day when the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India, was celebrated all across Jaipur after PM Modi’s announcement to celebrate it every year on November 26th. Team ScooTalks was among those lucky ones who got to attend this event in most of the prominent schools of Jaipur.
St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, one of the renowned schools of Pink City Jaipur, also had celebrated the Constitution Day. The hon’ble school principal, Dr. Pooja Singh, briefed the students about the significance of celebrating this day and talked about the role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in framing the longest constitution of the world. She then recited the preamble of the constitution, along with the students following her in a chorus.
The school celebrated the event throughout the day. To make the day all the more special, the school organized poster making competition where the students presented their creativity or rather we must say painted their patriotism, respect for motherland on paper. Ending the event on a happy note, participants were awarded with appreciations and winners with certificates.
