Prizes celebrated at annual festival, Jayshree Periwal High School

Celebration with tiny tots has its own charm which was experienced at Jayshree Periwal High School yesterday as the school celebrated the day with annual prize giving ceremony.

Jayshree Periwal High School, Chitrakoot Jaipur, on 18 February celebrated its primary and pre-primary annual prize giving ceremony, which began with the mellifluous vocal and instrumental music, brought alive by JPites in Symphony.

It was an evening full of music, dance and drama wherein the students celebrated their annual day with great zeal. The show began with an enthralling performance by the school orchestra with JPites in Symphony presenting their amazing sense of rhythm, coordination, synchronization and melody. The musical interlude continued with soulful renditions by the school choir.

The fun-filled regalia began with dances commemorating social issues like saving animals, racial discrimination, non violence, etc. The presentation was a riot of flamboyant colours and costumes and had everyone's foot tapping.

The tiny toddlers of preparatory shared their learning with interesting information they had gathered while exploring materials. The cultural odyssey continued with the musical Mahabharata, depicting various snippets from the epic.

The dynamic and inimitable director of Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, Jayshree Periwal, expressed her gratitude to the parents and stressed upon the Gandhian idealism and hoped the present generation would imbibe the values expounded by the Father of the Nation. She stressed on the overall development of the child and shared that apart from excellent academic performance, JPites have also excelled in co-curricular activities.

The evening came to an end with the national anthem under the open sky that was illuminated with colourful fireworks.
