Living in a country of festivals how can we not adore this beautiful and most colorful festival of all. Rarely a soul is left untouched by the magic of Navratri and unlimited dandiya. This is something that never ceases to enlighten our moods.

Well, just a little twist, this time Team ScooTalks was not only talking and chatting with these kids, but also we were equally dancing together. Or should I say we were playing dandiya together. Wow, it was completely enticing to see how these small kids played around with Dandiya.

St Anthony’s School, Jaipur was beaming with energy; every single corner was lit with varied hues of lights and the Garba music … it filled the entire hall … soothing aesthetic senses.

The Raas Dandiya night was commenced with the worship of Goddess Durga, later followed by various surprising group dances. Apart from the celebration of the success of good over bad, Dandiya is more of an act of rejoicing togetherness. And for kids it has an overall new meaning, for them it’s just a way of enjoying, laughing together.

Overall, it was rejuvenating for Team ScooTalks; playing Dandiya with the children was certainly one of the best experiences that we have come across.
We hope to catch up with students at St. Anthony next year on Dandiya Night.
