Rainbow School Celebrates Revelry
Rainbow School celebrated successful completion of session 2015-16 with Revelry. The celebration complimented the school name, there was a riot of colors … and fun!
The 15th Annual Function of Rainbow School, Jhotwara was held today at Birla Auditorium. A montage named Revelry – Celebrating Life was an endearing tribute to this enticing and idyllic life. Students created on stage a series of performance, bringing forth all shades and scenes of life. The resplendent pageant of music, dance and drama revivified the entire gathering.
The Chief Guest for the occasion, Shri Narpat Singh Rajvi, MLA Vidyadhar Nagar constituency was accorded a warm welcome by directors of the school, Capt. and Mrs. Narinder Singh. Accompanied by the Principal and Directors, he lighted the auspicious ceremonial lamp amid the melodic and propitious rendering of Saraswati mantra. It was followed by Ganesh Stuti and welcome song presented by the senior students of the school.
The school anthem sung by the school choir and prefectural board strengthened the faith of parents in school ethos and values. The school report 2015-16 presented by the Principal, Mrs. Seema Dewan, further assured them of the valued relationship that is enabling the school in imparting quality education.
The tiny toddlers glittered the stage with their vibrant sparkling and grateful presentation, specially the rapturous depiction of amalgamation of heart and soul through a soulful dance drama. The audience was left moist-eyed with a message that love is the finest of all religions.
From the world fairy tales to the kingdom of vegetables, from vibrant Gujarat to rangilo Rajasthan, from the dunes of Arabia to the land of rising sun … it had myriad hues of celebration. The stage set-up, props, costumes and curios added to the glamour quotient of the function. The enthralling performance of the finale received a thunderous applause from the audience.
The Chief Guest complimented the Rainbow School for such a splendid display of talent. He further appreciated the efforts of the school in sensitizing the global students towards the needs of changing times and shaping them into global citizens.
