Rajasthan State Open School 12th results declared, Muskan Intodia tops in Girls and Altaf Hussain in the Boys category

Minister of State for Education, Shri Vasudev Devnani announced the results of the Class XII examination held in March-May, 2017 by Rajasthan State Open School, Jaipur in "Shiksha Sankul" auditorium. In the examination Muskan Intodia topped the women's category by getting 80.2 percent marks in the examination, where as Altaf Hussain has secured the top position in the men's category with 77.2 percent marks.

Mr. Devnani personally greeted both of them on the telephone and said that study continuously in life, and keep progressing in life. He said that Muskan will be awarded the Mira Award and Altaf will be given the Eklavya Award by the State Government for getting the top position. Under this, both the students will be given a certificate, citation and a cash prize of Rs. 11 thousand.

Shri Devnani said that in the examination of March-May, 2017, in each district, two students (one male and one female) in class XII and two students (one male and one female) in class X will be provided the Eklavya and Mira award respectively. The candidates who receive the award at the district level will be rewarded with Rs 3100 and citation respectively.

The Minister of State for Education said that in the class-12th examination organized in March-May, 2017 this year, the result was 31.87%. Under this, the result was 28.78% for males and female candidates was 34.48%. 

A total of 41717 examinees had registered for the examination (22659 females and 19058 males). Of the 13296 successful students 13296, 7812 were female and 5484 were male candidates.
