Well, this saying has just been proven right by Ranveer Singh Saini, the 14-year-old golfing wonder.

Ranveer Singh Saini has created history by becoming the first Indian golfer to win a gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. He accomplished the feat in GF Golf-Level 2 Alternate Shot Team Play event on Friday. 

Asha Kiran Home today stands proud to see Ranveer touching stars as part of its special team visiting and participating at the Special Olympics 2015.

Born and brought up in Gurgaon, Ranveer was diagnosed with Autism at an age of 2, and started indulging in Golf at an age of 9. However, this is not the first feat that Ranveer has achieved. The boy has had a few more accolades added to his cap. He’s also the first Indian to register victorious name at Asia Pacific World Games having won two gold medals in 2013. It was his top-form and dedication that impressed India Golf Union (IGU) which in turn helped him gets coached by Anitya Chand.
