Rao Academy bags the President Cup at Kasiga School
The prestigious Madholal Memorial President Cup 2016 held at the picturesque Kasiga Oval finally ended with Rao Academy emerging as the winners of the tournament.
The prestigious Madholal Memorial President Cup 2016, held at the picturesque Kasiga Oval in Dehradun, ended on Tuesday with Rao Academy emerging as the winner of the cricket tournament.
The final match between Rao Academy and Khalsa Club on Tuesday was inaugurated by the Uttarakhand tourism minister, Dinesh Dhania. Adding to the excitement for both players and the cheering audience were international cricketers Alan Mullally and Robin Smith, who had plenty of tips for the budding cricketers.
Also present on the occasion were Ranjeet Rawat, advisor to the state chief minister, Rajkumar, MLA from Rajpur, and Kulin Gupta, editor-in-chief, TV 100 along with Kasiga School chairperson Ramesh Batta, a keen cricketer and an enthusiastic observer at the event.
