Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Workshop for Mothers at Subodh Public School, Airport

School is a learner’s paradise and Subodh Public School, Airport holds this true for everyone who’s associated with them, be it their students or their parents. Schools organizing workshops for students is quite a common thing, but workshops for teaching parents is something unique and unheard of. And working differently, the school organized a Reduce-Reuse-Recycle workshop for the mothers. Yes, you read it right, the workshop was for the mothers and moreover by the mothers.

We at ScooTalks always come across talented kids, kids involved in school events or the ones with special achievements but this time it was different. This time it was all about mothers and their creativity. We were amazed to see the enthusiasm in mothers who seemed very much interested in learning even the minutest of details.

The mothers with innate quality of creativity were seen training the other mothers about the best use of waste materials to create something new. Keeping the on-going festive season in mind, the mothers with full zeal made different decorative items to make this festive season worth remembering. Making use of left out pieces of crayons they made decorative candles, pooja thali, photo frames etc. The decorative items were so beautiful that nobody could ever think of it being made from waste materials. The creativity of mothers must have definitely reached a different level and we are sure they would have also enjoyed this workshop to the fullest. In the end, all the invitees were thanked by school principal Mrs.Kamaljeet  Yadav.

Seems like Subodh School’s this initiative will make the homes of students look all the more lively this Diwali.
