How do you explain the entire Coronavirus episode to the kids in a fun way? Let NGO Katha’s illustration book “The Mystery of The Missing Soap” help you. The book is based in a typical classic Bollywood backdrop, where there is a villain and there is a hero, who comes in rescue for the village.
The story in the book is centred in a village named Dakshinapur wherein an army of Coronavirus, Asura, and GermAsura led by the evil ruler, Tobakachi, attack the village. To widespread their effect, the army tricks and hides the soaps so that the villagers do not wash their hands and ultimately fall sick.
The village pupils then turn their hope to a schoolgirl. She, along with her classmates, comes up with an easy DIY soap recipe and make a soap named SoapNut. The recipe is further shared with the villagers, who are taught the correct way of washing their hands to keep the infections and diseases at bay. This way, the village also fights and wins the battle against the evil Coronavirus army.
