Bringing top accolades to his school, Sidharth Anandkumar of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Chinchwad, Pune has bagged the Best Delegate Award at the Dynamic Training Model United Nations. He had displayed highly impressive dialogue and debating skills, showing true skills of an orator for which all the chairs present at the conference tied together to honour and appreciate him.
Not to forget, he just compeleted his hatrick at being the Best Delegate. Yes! He has been taking away this award for the past 3 years!
He also took away the Best Delegate for the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC).
Model United Nations, MUN in short, has gradually come to be known as one of the best platform to hone public speaking skills among students. One such MUN conference was organized in Pune, where participating were five different committees of the United Nations, United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Each of these committees had a space of maximum 25 delegates.
To participate as delegates were some of the top schools, like Global Indian International School (Chinchwad), Gurukul School (Pune), Symbiosis International School (Pune), Victorious Kids Educares IB World School (Pune), SNBP International School (Pune), The Galaxy Education Society (Rajkot) among several others.
Sidharth Anandkumar, a student of Class 10th of GIIS Chinchawad Pune has always shown great orating and soft skills, along with some exceptional current affairs knowledge, which has always made the student win debating competitions.
