These days the parents and teachers are increasingly getting concerned about the compelling need for career guidance for the teenagers. Today the world offers a plethora of opportunities and one has to look beyond the conventional career choices in order to carve a niche for himself or herself.

The reason for increased awareness for career counselling stems from the plethora of career options available in new faculties of Sciences, humanities, Media and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Architecture, Animation, Sound engineering, Literature and even Politics. Careers in these unexplored genres are often handsomely rewarding and self actualizing. What is required today is the zest to look beyond the trodden avenues.

These were the views of Mr. Vineet Bansal, Senior Faculty and Coordinator of the two-day-long Inter-school Career and Guidance Fair – Vibrant Xavier's which starts today, August 22 at St. Xavier's School. Dr. Himanshu Sharma, President of the Xavier's Alumni, emphasized on the need to create job generation over job seeking. He further enunciated that the children would be benefited with their interaction with people of wide acclaim and would find eminent universities providing courses at their disposal.

To provide a wide variety of expert advice the school has invited eminent speakers from diverse fields. Here is a quick look at the nominated list of guests.
