St. Xavier’s School bags 5 medals in the 10th Maharaja Karni Singh Shooting Championship.

The shooters of St. Xavier’s School have bagged 3 gold and 2 silver medals in the 10th Maharaja Karni Singh Shooting Championship. The championship was held at the prestigious Jagatpura Shooting Range, Jaipur from July 7 to 10, 2016.

The shooters of St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School Jaipur have made their school proud by bagging 3 gold and 2 silver medals in the 10th Maharaja Karni Singh Shooting Championship. The championship was held at the prestigious Jagatpura Shooting Range, Jaipur from July 7 to 10, 2016.

The competition saw participants from 6 states including Rajasthan, UP, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Maharashtra along with teams from the Army and Air India.

Beating tough competition Xavierites stood the ground and created history. Anukriti Singh won 2 Gold medals in 25 mts Sports pistol Junior and senior category while Anshika Kanwar bagged 2 Silver medals in 25 mts Sports pistol Junior and senior category.

Rajshree Khrishnia secured Gold in 50 mtr Rifle prone junior category and Akshyat Singh Deval walked away with 2 Silver medals in 10 mts rifle in Youth and junior category.

The team won these laurels under the able leadership and coaching of Mr. Jogendra Singh, (ISSF "B" Judge & Jury, National Coach & International Shooter).
