What better day to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami than teacher’s day!
Krishna Janmashtami, the festival to celebrating Lord Krishna’s birthday, the charioteer and mentor to Arjun who showed and coaxed him to follow the path of righteous war, coincided with Teacher’s day this year.
This reputed kids’ school, Star Kids Academy, Jaipur celebrated the day with a great enthusiasm, bringing together Teachers’ Day celebration and Krishna Janamashtmi. Instilling religious values and respect for teachers at the same time celebrated both the events in a unique way. The kindergarten students of the school who were either dressed up as Krishna or Radha, experienced teaching for a day, getting a chance to play their teachers.
Unlike the real Krishna, these lil’ Krishnas were not naughty. Well, they were, but they at least tried not to be, more so because they represented their teachers. And … guess what! These Krishnas didn’t preach the Dharma Lessons, rather the modern lil Krishna and Radha taught Maths, EVS, G.K, Hindi and surprisingly not Sanskrit but the global language- ENGLISH.
